Jackie Borcherding Assistant District Attorney, Williamson County

The Williamson County Domestic Assault Response Team (DART), under the direction of District Attorney Jana Duty and County Attorney Dee Hobbs, was established to improve knowledge and responses to domestic violence cases in Williamson County.  It’s a collaborative effort of Williamson County victims’ assistance personnel, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, health and mental health professionals and community leaders. The mission of DART is to commit to thorough investigations and just prosecution of domestic violence cases, provide supportive and comprehensive assistance to victims of domestic violence, and educate the community about domestic violence in order to reduce the incidence of domestic violence in our community and improve the effectiveness of advocacy and support for victims.

As part of our outreach and training, we would like to invite you to our Second Annual DART Conference, May 13-14, 2013 .  The conference is free training that focuses on educating community and local professionals on domestic violence cases.  We have scheduled local, state, and national speakers to speak on the complex and current issues of domestic violence from the investigation, prosecution and trial aspects of a case.  Please fill out the registration form for you to reserve your spot.  Space is limited to the first 200 registrants!  We will respond back to you with a confirmation email.
